She was born September 17, 1913, in Blackcreek Township, Mercer County, the daughter of the late John W. and Frances (Witter) Alspaugh. She never married.
Miss Alspaugh retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in St. Marys and had lived her entire life in the Rockford and St. Marys areas.
Survivors include a sister, Mildred (Charles) Botkin of St. Marys; and three nieces and nephews.
A sister, Ruth Buchanan, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 6, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Mike Berne officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
Visitation will be an hour prior to services at the funeral home.
