Sarah M. "Sallie" Bond of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Monday, April 19, 1926.


She was born August 1, 1835 in Virginia, the daughter of Jonathan and Mary "Polly" (Bundy) Hartsock.


She and Sylvester Madison Bond were married February 23, 1851 in Scott County, Virginia. They were the parents of seven children.


They were in Washington County, Arkansas before the 1880 census.


She was predeceased by her husband; a son, William Madison Bond; and two daughters, Nancy E. Brinson and Laura E. Clark.


She is survived by two sons, Thomas J. Bond and Jonathan H. Bond, and two daughters, Mary R. Smith and Melvina Ward.


Burial was Tuesday, April 20, 1926 in Combs Chapel Cemetery, south east of Fayetteville.
