Terrance L. Painter, 61, of Pascagoula, Miss., died on Thursday, July 26, 2001, at home.

Born Feb. 7, 1940, in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Howard J. and Dorothy Reighter Painter.

He was a member of Manna from Heaven Ministries, Escatawpa, Miss.

Mr. Painter was an electrical supervisor with Ingalls Shipbuilding.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, he served in the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife, Sue Painter; a daughter, Tonia (Mrs. Timmy) Mire of Gautier, Miss.; a son, Ben (husband of Tricia) of Annapolis, Md.; four grandchildren, Lauren, T.J. Mire, Amber Mire and Brenna Mire, addresses not provided; two sisters, Joann Grant of Florida and Jeanie Rego of Pennsylvania; four brothers, Howard of Ohio and John, Jan and Kenny, all of Pennsylvania; nieces; and nephews. A brother, Bruce, preceded him in death.
