"Zephie" as he was called by family and close friends was educated at the All Age School in Colonel Hill. He was born and raised in a Christian home as was all of his siblings. After leaving school he moved to Nassau where he met Emily Humes whom he later married. This union brought forth one son, Charles. He carried on His successful business until the time of his sickness.
He is survived by his mother Luella Cunningham; his wife, Emily; one son; Charles; his sisters: Telefar Cunningham Bain, Alra Cunningham Chisholm, Marjorie Cunningham Major, Sylvia Cunningham Moss, Vena Ella Cunningham McQuay, Myrtis Cunningham Thompson; one brother: Wilfred Clarence Cunningham; his aunts: Adrianna Cunningham Ferguson, Caroline Symonette, Belphine Olive and Leonora; one uncle; John Cunningham; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends...
