Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 20, 2000 at Providence Baptist Church with Dr. Hugh Cooper officiating. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park, Harrisburg, NC. Visitation is 6:30-8:00 PM tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home at Concord.
Mrs. Montalvo was born September 24, 1937 in Erwin County, NC; daughter of the late Ellen Ennis and Bennett Ennis. She was a homemaker and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Harrisburg, NC.
She is survived by her husband, Joseangel A. Montalvo, Sr. of Harrisburg, NC; daughters, Rosita Blackwelder & husband Rickey D. of Concord, NC, Anita Bratton of Concord, NC, Angelita Miller & husband Randall of Kannapolis, NC, Consuelo Souders & husband Brian of Charlotte; son, Joseangel A. Montalvo, Jr. of the home; 6 grandsons, Randall Miller, Jr., Phillip Bratton, Eric Miller, Ricky Blackwelder, Michell Souders, Wesley Souders; and 6 granddaughters, Amanda Bratton, Shelley Blackwelder, Kelley Blackwelder, Jennifer Bratton, Angel Miller Mackenzie Souders; three sisters Bonnie Bass and Eliva Stephens of Erwin, NC and Cleo Surratt of Dunn, NC; two brothers, Delano Ennis of Erwin and Thearl Ennis of Benson, NC.
