SHIGEMITSU, Thomas Masamoto (96) peacefully passed away on October 20, 2008 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his sons, Allan (Nancy), Neal, and Thomas (Judith) Shigemitsu; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Shigemitsu; brother-in-law, Shiro Miota of Hawaii; sisters-in-law, Edna (Bob) Ige, and Bertha Tanda, both of Hawaii; pre-deceased, by his son, Herbert Shigemitsu, wife, Doris Shigemitsu, and granddaughter Wendy Akemi Shigemitsu (1971 - 1973); also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
