"Phillip Huyett, youngest son of Jacob Huyett(1732) married Magdalena Klohs, youngest daughter of John Klohs, son of THOMAS KLOHS, of Alsace Township, Feb 9. 1794, in presence of Jacob Klohs, in minister's house, (JOHN KLOHS WAS BURIED Sept. 23, 1795, BY THOMAS KLOHS, who born on Dec 6. 1723 had ten children)..."

Page 1145 and 1146 states at that time tombstones could be read back to 1762 and that the first Alsace Church was built in 1737 showing the age of some of the burials.

"Strauss...Maria Barbara,born Nov. 16, 1735, m. June 2, 1754, John Kloss (now Klohs), born in Brechkebel, Hanau, Germany, Dec. 6, 1723, son of THOMAS and MARGARET KLOSS, with whom he came to America in 1738. They resided a little north of Reading..."
