Mrs. Eva A. Malarkey, age 55 of 205 Crawford St., Houston was found dead in her home on Saturday, September 15, 1973 from natural causes.
Mrs. Malarkey was born February 16, 1918 in Cecil Township, a daughter of the late Louis and Nellie Yurkas Rupska.
Her husband John Willard Malarkey died in 1954. She was employed as a laundress by Western State School and Hospital, and was a member of St. Patrick Church.
She is survived by a daughter Mrs Patricia Swan of Havelock, N.C., and a granddaughter, Patty.
A mass of the resurrection was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, in St. Patrick Church, celebrated by the Rev. Father Robert J. Castelucci. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
