BOARDMAN – Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home Inc. for James “Jim” Anderson, 66, who passed away on Thursday, May 25.

Jim was born April 17, 1951, in Youngstown, son of Robert W. Anderson and Mary M. McHugh.

Jim was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University.

He worked for Kroger Foods and R.Q.A.C. X-Ray processing.

He was a member of St. Christine Church and the Lockwood United Methodist Church.

Jim enjoyed fine scale modeling, Ohio State football, and loved his dogs, Peaches and granddog Brutus.

Surviving are his wife, Georgia Abbott, whom he married Feb. 19, 1977; a son, Patrick (Josselyn) Anderson of Cornersburg; a brother, Robert W. (Marilyn) Anderson of Canfield; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Hoover of Stow.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
