Charles William "Charlie" Mann (WWII, FSSF) of Kincardine peacefully, with family by his side at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine on Saturday, January 28th, 2017, in his 95th year.

Beloved husband of the late June Mann (née Popkin) who predeceased him in 2006.

Missed by his children, grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and nephew. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Florence (née Fox) Mann, three brothers and one sister.

Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine (Princes Street) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Northern Light Masonic Lodge service at 7:00 p.m and Royal Canadian Legion Branch-183 service at 7:15 p.m.

The funeral service to celebrate Charlie's life was conducted from the Anglican Church of the Messiah, Kincardine (Russell Street) on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment Kincardine Cemetery.

Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

First Special Service Force - (Canadian soldiers).The 1st Special Service Force, was an elite American-Canadian commando unit in World War II, under command of the United States Fifth Army. The unit was organized in 1942 and trained at Fort William Henry Harrison near Helena, Montana in the United States.
