Lee Curtiss, aged five years, died at his mother's home at the Blockhouse, last Friday evening, from infantile paralysis. The funeral service for the little one was held on Sunday afternoon, at the Chapman parlors, Rev. Louis Thomas conducting the service. The interment was at the Odd Fellows' cemetery. This is the first death from this disease here. The parents are recent arrivals here from Sheridan, Oregon.

The funeral services of Winfred Lee Curtis, aged five years, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Curtis, of Blockhouse, were held at the Chapman Undertaking Parlors the past Sunday afternoon. Burial was held in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Rev. Louis Thomas, of the Methodist church officiated at the services.
