OBITUARY: The Morning Press, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Monday, April 21, 1980
Dora J. Lynn, 80, 127 Coughlin St., Berwick, died Friday at 10:45 p.m. at the Berwick Retirement Village where she had been a guest fro the past three weeks.
Born in Wellsboro, Tioga County, Nov. 26, 1899, she was the daughter of the late Walker and Lottie Heath Smith.
Her husband, Charles E. Lynn, died in Nov. of 1964.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Berwick; Esther Circle of that church, V.F.W.
and American Legion Auxiliaries and the Berwick Senior Citizens.
Surviving are nine children: Mrs. Robert (Metta) Ent, Mifflinville; Joyce E., at home, Mrs. Frank (Norma) White, Bloomsburg R.D.1; Jay E., at home; Mrs. Charles (Clara) Pettit, Fairless Hills; Drue A., Berwick; Dale L., at home; Charles S., Berwick; Mrs. James (Sally Kaye) Brown, Narbeth; a brother, George Smith, Catskill, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 2p.m. from the Robert N. Hindman Funeral Home, Berwick, with the Rev. Jerome W. Haupt officiating. Burial will be in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
