Mr. Abikhaled passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2006. He was born October 2, 1929, in Hammana, Lebanon.
He graduated from the Bon Pasteur School.
Mr. Abikhaled was the son of the late Abdallah and Sourya Abikhaled of Hammana. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Samira Aad Abikhaled of Lexington; sons, Ghazi (Cathy) Abikhaled of Jacksonville, Florida, and Elie (Pam) Abikhaled of Lexington; grandchildren, Alexandria, Sophie, Josephine and Miriam; his brothers, Fouad, Jamil, of Hammana, Lebanon, and George of Austin, Texas; and his sisters, Soumaya, Marie and Amal of Hammana, Lebanon.
A devoted father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Mr. Abikhaled was a general contractor and a master builder of fine homes.
He will be missed by all of us and all who knew him.
