Ronald Harton joined the US Marines to serve his country and protect his family. After leaving there Marines, he retired of 20 plus years of service from the City of Cincinnati and Fire Department.
He married Annie Harton and in their union Olikia M. Harton was born. He loved and cared for his family dearly. My mom told me she was spoiled rotten, she said she could get just about anything she wanted because he could never say no.
He then married Wanda Lunsford in their union Ronald Lunsford was born. He loved and care for his family dearly. He was big on family outings.
Ronald enjoyed Martial Art movies. He loved these movies so much that he tough both of his children Karate.
Ronald is preceded in death by Wanda Lunsford (Ihsan Abdullah) and his grandson Eric Allen Payne. He survived one daughter Olikia Marisia (Harton) Payne Hill; one son Ronald Ali Lunsford: five grandchildren Antonio C. Tobin, James Q. Payne Orlando M. Payne, Tyran L. Lunsford, Kayla N. Lunsford and host of relatives.
Visitation is from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm, on Monday, May 8, 2017, at the Walker Funeral Chapel , 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 7:00 pm.
Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428.
