LEAMINGTON MATRON DIES

Bessie Greathouse Nielson the wife of Bishop Spencer Nielson of Leamington died in Salt Lake City in a hospital there on Wednesday of the past week. Mrs. Nielson had been in poor health for the past few years and had undergone an operation for carcinoma. About a month ago, she was taken to Salt Lake City and died there. Mrs. Nielson was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Greathouse of Lynndyl. She is survived by her husband and three children, two sons, Richard and Gordon and a little daughter Iris. Her parents and two brothers and three sisters also survive her. Mrs. Nielson was forty-two years old. She was a graduate of the University of Utah and was a woman of interesting personality and excellent qualities. She was an active worker in the LDS church and gave freely of her time and work for community welfare. Funeral services were held in Leamington on Saturday afternoon with the following speakers, Jos. T. Finlinson, Eddie Anderson and J. Nelson. A great number of friends were in attendance to pay their last respects. Interment was at Leamington.
