On April 18,2017 Esther Miller,age 110,passed away at the Ginger Cove Health Center. Esther was the wife of the late Rip Miller. Esther was a Trustee (Emeritus) with the USNA Foundation. She attended Purdue University and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Esther was a concert violinist with St.John's College; she was a winning golfer into her 90's,a staunch Navy football fan,a member of the Severn River Garden Club and the Pan-Hellenic Club. Esther was active in the Girl Scouts as a leader and in developing Camp Woodlands near Annapolis. She was an avid bridge player. She is survived by her son Tom Miller and her daugters Pat (Robert) Seaney and Joan (Jeff Welsh) Miller. Her grandchildren Doug Miller,Bruce Miler,Mike Miller,Bill Schultz,Heidi Schultz,Andrew Harden,Casey Harden and Maj John Dove, USMC; she is also survived by her 14 great grandchildren.
