Mr. Perry, who was known as “Butch,” was born June 4, 1952, in Nashville, Tenn., a son of Iverson Leon Sr. and Josephine Leslie Perry.
He attended high school in Ohio, who was a kind and gentle person.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Maleya Perry of Boardman; stepson Richard (Marshana) Buchanan Sr., stepgrandsonson Richard Buchanan Jr., and special best friend Tasha Hicks, all of Youngstown; sisters Ruby J. Perry of Milwaukee, Wis., Rolena Perry of Columbus; sister-in-law Ann Delores Perry of Columbus; aunt Rebecca Perry of Milwaukee; and a host of other family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by loving companion Jeanie M. Buchanan; two brothers, Rev. Joseph Leslie Perry and John A. Perry; niece Leslie Renee Perry and nephew Joseph Martin Perry.
