MASURY - Elizabeth “Betty” Anna Wilson, 95, passed away on Feb. 9, 2017.

She was born on July 10, 1921, in Vienna to Louis C. and Alice (Tyrell) Lathrop.

On April 27, 1940, Betty united in marriage to Morgan Wilson. The couple was married for 72 years before Morgan preceded Betty in death on April 11, 2012.

Betty worked for both the Fowler and Vienna Schools, working as their food service manager. When Betty was not square dancing the night away with Morgan, they could be frequently found camping and traveling. They also enjoyed spending their winters in both California and Florida. Betty also enjoyed studying genealogy and discovering her family’s history.

Besides her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Wade and Lewis Lathrop; and her sister, Alice Ungar.

She is survived by her children, Thomas (Diane) Wilson Sr., Kenneth (Sue) Wilson Sr., Judith (Kenneth) Miller and Diane (Mark) Ruby; her eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visit with Betty’s family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel, 6923 Warren-Sharon Road in Brookfield, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017.
