Allen was a resident of Naugatuck since 1983 and recently retired from Sonic Systems in Stratford. He had also worked as an armed security guard at Remington Arms in Bridgeport. He was an avid skeet shooter and race car enthusiast. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Evangelical Church in Naugatuck.
Besides his wife, he leaves one son, Henry Allen Fetcho of Naugatuck and his girlfriend, Shannon Hildreth; two sisters, Linda Pazik of Huntington and Maryann Betts of Shelton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 170 Coen Street, Naugatuck.
