Mary Ann Bower, better known as Ann, and formerly Mary Ann Nealeigh and Mary Ann Klopfer, passed away peacefully in Dayton, OH, on January 28, 2017, at the age of 77.

She married Delbert on May 6, 1989, and they shared 27 happy years together.

Ann is survived by her husband, Delbert Bower; her children, Kim Nealeigh (Brian) Molitor, Wendy Nealeigh (Mitchell) Smith, Mark Bower, Kim Bower (Rob) Flood, and her grandchildren, Brianna Molitor, Ethan Molitor, Brittany Smith (Ben) Berry, Breanna Smith, Preston Smith, Cory Flood, and Lindsey Flood.

Ann is preceded in death by her father, Paul Gaylord Klopfer; her mother, Mary Lynn Klopfer; and her two brothers, Paul Allen Klopfer and Daniel Lynn Klopfer.

Ann taught from 1961-1999 in Dayton and West Carrollton area and was an active member of Curves, Altrusa, and volunteered at the Schuster Center and Victoria Theatre. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, where she was known for her genuine happiness and compassion for others.

Services will be held Saturday February 11, 2017 with visitation from 10 AM to noon, followed with a Memorial Service at The Central Presbyterian Church, 4699 Lamme Road, Moraine, Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
