Patsy Mae Bowie Hurt, born October 1, 1933 in McCool, MS., went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 14, 2017. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Gerard and Mae Bowie and husband Joe.
She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Anne Wood and husband Chet, son, Joe Hurt, Jr., and wife Jamie; daughters, Rebecca Dossett, Mary Hines and sons, James Hurt and wife Tammy and Michael Hurt. Patsy was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her lifelong friends, Robert and Karen Winford and many other family members and friends.
Mothers’ passion was her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, traveling, gardening and cooking.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Apr 17th from 5-8 pm in the Chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 20850 Eva St., Montgomery, Texas 77356.
