Mrs Navas died at Table Mt. on the Cobb Ranch (owned by her son in law Isaiha Frazier) on Friday evening. As she was an aged woman, her death was an expected occurrence. She was the wife of Jose Navas and had reared quite a large family.

1880 Census, Murphys: Navas, Joseph Age 41 Chili; Antonia Age 48 Leon, Central America; Calisto Age 21; Antone Age 8 (This would be the Antonio Navas that Rosa Oneto married); Joseph Age 7; Gabriel Age 19; Jennie Age 19 (Jennie Kirkland,wife of Gabriel); Trisa Age 2 months child of Gabriel and Jennie.
1900 Antonia Navas in Murphys, living between her daughter and son in law, Isaiah and Annie Loomis Frazier, and Evanglista Morales and his son Frank and Frank's wife Sarah.

It is not for sure that this is her marker but it is believed to be by the cemetery. These markers were put on graves in the 1930s to mark old graves with no names on them and often the markers are not correct since the names were from the memories of the townspeople of who was buried in that location many years earlier.
