William David Davis, Sr. age 74, of Supply died Thursday March 16, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Brunswick County on December 12, 1942 the son of the late George H. Davis, Sr. and Mildred Kirby Davis.
Mr. Davis was a member of Peace Memorial Baptist Church in Winnabow, NC. He love was his family and going in the river. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years, Jane S. Davis of the home; two sons, Mark Allan Davis of Supply and William David Davis, Jr. and wife, Andrea of Hampstead, NC; a daughter, Mary Jane Altizer and husband, Rhea of Tazewell, VA; two brothers, Darold Davis and wife, Judy of Kansas City Missouri and George Davis and wife, Frances of Manteo, NC; two sisters, Brenda Nelson of Leland, NC and Linda Savage and husband, Sammy of Swansboro, NC; numerous grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held 3:00 in the afternoon on Sunday March 26, 2017 at Peace Memorial Baptist Church by Reverend Phil Frady and Reverend Arnold Griffin officiating.
