Joseph W. "Joe" Basham, age 57, of Dunbar passed away at his residence March 31, 2017 after an extended illness.
Joe served his country in the USMC and was employed by Paxton Concrete of Poca, as a driver and Mechanic.
He is survived by his son, Joe Basham, Jr. of Marietta, OH, one sister, Drema Steinke of Benton Harbor, MI; aunt, Betty Phillips of Rhonda.
Military graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday April 6, 2017 at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Institute, WV.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home for his final expenses.
