Former Jr. and High School friends. Charles and I were schoolmates and friends in Mainz, Germany while our Fathers were both in the Army there. We played football and baseball together. Just recently I found out he had died in combat in Vietnam. I'll always remember him as a nice guy who had a smile for everybody and was an American hero. I too was a Marine who served in Vietnam. God bless you Charles. Former Marine LCPL Denver W Miller. 197 Lewfield Circle, Winter Park, Fl 32792, [email protected].

High School Friend: A good friend and a proud marine. I went to High school with Charles and remember he talked about wanting to be a Marine throughout the senior high. Last time I saw him was in summer when he was about to enter the Marines. He was so proud to become a Marine. Less than a year later I learned he had died. Charles was one of the nicest guys I have ever met, and I remember him to this day. Bernard Kingsley, [email protected]
