HARTFIELD - Chester Hilliard Haddon, 96, of Hartfield died Wednesday, March 15, 2017. He was the widower of Mary Catherine Haddon, and at the time of her death they had been married for 72 years. He was the last living sibling of 10 children.
Chester was a World War II U.S. Army veteran having served with the 63rd Quarter Master Base Depot in France.
He is survived by his daughters; Bonnie Haddon and Linda Dandridge (Paul); three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday March 26, at Spring Hill Baptist Church, Cobbs Creek, where he was a member.
