Laura Jean Wolfe, 82, of Marengo, died Thursday , October 2,2014 at her home in Marengo. She was born October 31,1931 in Clay County, Kentucky to Kelley and Laura Thompson Sams.
She is preceded in death by her parents: husband: Maurice E Wolfe, her sons: Wesley and Gregory Stacy, her brothers: Estill and Harvey Sams, her sisters: Rosemarie White and Chelsea Miller, and her grandson Joey Stacy.
Survivors include her son: John Michael Stacy of Marengo, her daughter Belinda Senn of Marengo, her brother: Stanley Sams of Indianalopis, her sisters: Jane Vogen and Joyce McCarthy, both of Holiday, Florida, Millicent Witthoeft of Georgetown Indiana Sue Malkowski of Huntley, Illinois and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m , Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Claude Mercer, will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
