Mr. Barnard was employed in the material handling department of Harrison Radiator Division, General Motors Corp. He was a member of Harrison's bowling and golf leagues and the National Material Handling Society. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Betty R. Barnard; one son, A.3.C. Robert William Barnard of Turkey; two daughters, Cindy Lou and Lisa Marie, both at home; one sister, Miss Mary Ann Barnard of California.
