Travis Sentell Reaves was born on August 7, 1979 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and departed this life on February 8, 2009. As a child, Travis attended Star of Hope Original Freewill Baptist Church where he later was baptized and became a member. He was educated in Lee County Public School System and was employed at Moncure Plywood, Moncure, North Carolina. He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, John Reaves and Cheryl Kelly-Smith (Bishop Allan Smith), a son, Timothy Sentell Reaves, three sisters; Shonda Kelly (Sean) of Raleigh, NC, Loretha Fortune of Clayton, NC and Debra Williamson (Al) of Rock Hill, SC; two brothers, John Reaves, Jr., (Ebony) of the home and Eric Smith (Tiara) of Fremont, NC. A special niece, Tia Kelly of Sanford, NC who was raised as a sister; his maternal grandmother, Betty K. Lee (Curtis) of Sanford, NC; four nieces and eight nephews; special cousins, Tony Jr., Amos Jr., Kendrick, Nate, Mike, Morris, DeErick and T.J.; and special friends, Tiana, Elijah, and Treshawn Murchison and a host of other relatives and friends.
