DEATH OF PETER ANDERSON.
A popular young Merindaite, Peter ANDERSON, son of Charles ANDERSEN, passed away yesterday morning at the Hospital, after a short illness, as the result of an attack of typhoid fever. Deceased was a member of the Rainbow Football team, but didn't play this year owing to illness. As a mark of respect to the deceased who was an employee of the meat works there will be No work there to-day. The funeral takes place at 10 o'clock this morning.
