Harold C. Amsden, 86, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 9, 2017 in Copley. He was born in Erie, PA on May 23, 1930 to the late Lou and Hildur Amsden. He was retired from Nickles Bakery after 23 years. He spent many years involved in “outreach” at the Norton Grace Church.
He is survived by his loving wife Marti Amsden of 65 years of marriage; daughter, Denise Phillips; son, Jeff (Penny) Amsden; grandchildren, Dina, Jeff Jr. (Simone), Emily (Dave), Janelle (Dan), Amanda (Mike), Tim, Joey; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn (Bob, deceased), Elsie (Fred), and Carol (Ray); and many adoring in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Grace Church-Norton on April 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Bob Combs officiating; private inurnment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
