She was born on Dec. 28, 1976, in Warren, a daughter of Candace Newman and Robert Rossi.
Hollie was a 1995 graduate of Joseph Bader High School in Kinsman and attended Bel-Rae Institute in Denver for its animal technician program. She was a veterinary assistant for Greenville Veterinary Clinic.
On Aug. 21, 1999, she married Stephan A. Gerzetich.
Hollie was a devoted wife and mother, who loved her Lord, attending Friday night Bible studies at the Kinsman Missionary and Alliance Church, and sharing her faith with those she encountered through battle with cancer. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and she loved animals.
She is survived by her husband of almost 16 years, Stephen A. Gerzetich Jr. of Kinsman; a daughter, Katerina Ann Gerzetich, and son, Stephen A. Gerzetich III, both of Kinsman; her parents, Robert and Candace Rossi of Orangeville; a sister, Christa (Matthew) Bennett of Kinsman; grandma, Helen Rossi of Niles; and was a special aunt to her eight nieces and nephews.
Holly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. Newman and Mr. and Mrs. Rossi.
A celebration of Hollie’s life will be held 6 p.m. Monday at the Kinsman Christian Missionary and Alliance Church, 6590 state Route 87, Kinsman, with the Rev. Howard Darr officiating. Calling hours will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m.
Private burial will be held in Kinsman Cemetery.
