Manuel A. Miller, 80, of Litchfield passed away Sunday, January 14, 2007, at Medina General Hospital. He was born September 20, 1926, in Litchfield to Edmund and Marion Mole Miller. He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1944 and was a lifetime resident of the area.
Mr. Miller had farmed and later was the owner and operator of the Litchfield Amoco Service Station for 25 years. He was a member of Litchfield United Church of Christ and assisted with the Litchfield Hot Stove Baseball for many years. He also played softball for the Abbeyville teams for over 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Thelma Jones and brothers Kenneth and Pete.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 18, at Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi. Pastors David Shimp and Beulah Knieriem officiated. Burial followed at Litchfield Cemetery.
