He was born on January 12, 1953 in Milford to the late Melville and Loretta Carney Boyd. He was a self-employed plumber, a member of the West Haven Elks and enjoyed boating in his spare time. Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife Francine Feulner Boyd, daughters Kelly Merly and her husband Allen of Bethany and Christine Stillie and her husband Matthew of Texas, grandchildren Hallie, Sabrina, Lucie and Garrett Stillie and Emily and Lauren Merly and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 25, 2012 in St. Mary's Church, Gulf St., Milford at 12 noon. Interment will be private.
