Chris was Idaho state champion in tennis in 1969. She moved with her family to Phoenix, AZ in 1970. Chris went to Europe after high school. She met her future husband in her first year at Phoenix College. They married in 1974. She graduated from Arizona State University. Chris was a soccer, gymnastics, football, basketball, track and cross-country mom the next 2 decades. She did dictation for Ruben's medical office. Chris loved to walk with her neighbors and dogs. She loved to play the piano. Chris battled brain cancer for 4 years. Throughout her life family was everything. Chris dreamed of retiring with her husband in the country and rescuing pit bulls. She is survived by her husband, daughter, two sons, a brother, and sister.
