Dale Barry Bronson, 63 of Kissimmee, passed away January 28, 2017. A member of the Pioneer Osceola County Family Dale was born in Kissimmee, the son of Roma J. and Frances Elinora Bronson and was lifelong Osceola County resident. He was a retired Property Appraiser and a member of Shingle Creek United Methodist Church, Kissmmee. Dale was charter member of Jacob-Summerlan Camp #1516, Sons of Confederate Veterans. While a student at Osceola High School, Dale was an outstanding student, athlete. At one time, he held the school record in the shot put. He received a scholarship to Seminole Community College. While there, he threw the javelin, discus and shot put. He graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then went to Hanover College in Indiana and played middle linebacker until a serious knee injury finished his career. He then went to the University of South Florida and graduated with a Business degree. Dale entered in the real estate field and settled in as a Certified Property Appraiser. Dale was known for his very dry sense of humor. He loved rottweiler dogs, fishing and barbeque. He competed on the BBQ circuit and won awards from Mosquito County BBQ Society, Florida Barbeque Association and the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
Dale is survived by brother, Vince Bronson from Kissimmee; a niece, Jessica A. Bronson from San Francisco, CA; a nephew, Jared A. Bronson from Atlanta, GA.
Graveside services for Dale will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Shingle Creek Cemetery, Old Vineland Road, Kissimmee, with the Reverend Cathy Thacker, First United Methodist Church, Lake Alfred, Fl. officiating.
