Sarina Frances was the first child born of nine children to Edmund S. and Lutitia Dudley Capps Sebree. She was born in Clay County, Missouri.
She married John McManamy in Clay County on December 10, 1854. Her mother died that same year. She and John settled in Elk County, Kansas and raised eight children there. After her husband died, sometime after 1880, Fanny moved to Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri. Her sister Mayme Serage and some of her chilren lived there as well. When Fanny died they shipped her body back to be buried along side her husband in Longton, Elk County, Kansas.

In the death of Mrs Sarina F. McManamy yesterday one of the most widely known residents of South Joplin passed away. She almost attained the allotted three score and ten years, being 67 years of age. Mrs McManamy had lived in Joplin for 10 years, and had many friends and adquaintance among the elderly residents of the neighborhood in which she lived.
One of her sons, John McmManamy, was for two terms marshal of Joplin and her other sons Thomas, William and Charles, are also widely known in the city and vicinity. Two daughters also survive, Mrs. Robinson and Mrs Kinkead.
The remains will be shipped to Longton, Kansas to be laid to rest beside the grave of her husband, who passed away many years ago.
