Midway - Ronald L. Hillis Sr., 58, died Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at his residence in Midway. He was a native of Savannah, and lived the past 34 years in Midway. He served in the U.S. Navy. Surviving are two sons, Ronald Hillis, Jr. of Ludowici and Anthony Craig Hillis of Midway; one daughter, Angela Norby of Midway; one brother, Tom Hillis of Hilton Head Island, SC; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2004 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2004 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. John Gladin officiating. Burial will be in Dorchester Cemetery.
