Janet Evaleen Meyerhoeffer

Age: 83 • Dayton

Janet Evaleen Meyerhoeffer, 83, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at VMRC. Janet was born on August 28, 1933, and was a daughter of the late Hazel (Reeves) and Russel Wichael.

She was a 1951 graduate of North River High School and a 1954 graduate of RMH School of Nursing. She retired from RMH, and was a member of Dayton United Methodist. She loved P. Buckley Moss, cross stitching, volunteer work at Oak Lea, and playing the piano.

On September 8, 1962, she was united in marriage to Harold Trobaugh "Mo" Meyehoeffer, who survives.

Janet is also survived by two sisters, Nancy Gianni, of Farmville, and Catherine Hope Price, of Newport News, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by two sisters, Dawn Wichael and Junelle Huffer.

A memorial service will be conducted 11AM Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Dayton United Methodist Church, with Rev. Bruce Carper and Rev. W.L. "Sonny" Henkel officiating. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dayton United Methodist Church Building Fund, 215 Ashby St., Dayton, VA 22821.
