HIGHLAND. Feb. 28 -- Theron A. Du Bois, 85, died at 10 o'clock this morning at his home on Maple avenue after a long illness He was born in Highland, the son of Elias and Mary Malcolm Du Bois and ran a carriage and auto paint shop for 55 years. He retired ten years ago.
He is survived by three sons, George Du Bois of Fonda, Charles L of HIghland, and T. Edward of New York city; one daughter, Mrs. Harry Weeznaar Jr. of Poughkeepsie; and a brother, David, also of Poughkeepsie.
Funeral services will be held at the home Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. Herbert Killinder will officiate. Interment will be in Highland cemetery.
