Son of Harold Herman and Adelaide Partridge Jackson. He married Lo Leta Cox on February 12, 1948 in the St. George (LDS) Temple. Harold was raised in Fredonia and Safford, Arizona, then at the age of 17 he joined the Navy, serving during WW II. He resided in Kaibab, Arizona after he was first married, then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where they raised their family and lived for 27 years before moving to St. George. Harold was a professional truck driver who loved his job, and spent a lot of time driving all over the United States. It was something he loved, and even after retiring, he would always love to talk about and share with people. He also loved fishing with his family and friends and going to get fire wood, and traveling to see family and friends. He loved to make homemade ice cream and spend time with his grandkids. His family will always love and remember him!
