Lucretia 'Creasy' Adkins Berry was a daughter of Henry Vincent Adkins and Anna Ellender 'Nellie' Hughes. She was the granddaughter of William Hughes and Loretta Whitson. On September 23, 1903 she married John S. Berry in Yancey County, NC. They are the parents of: Luther Chester, Berdie, Josephine, Lola, Charles, Alphonso, Ruby Jane, Arnold, H.C. and Perry. Creasy's mother in my Great-Aunt.
