Jan E. (Martin) Clark, 55, of Spencer, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the I.U. Health Hospital, Bloomington, Indiana. Jan was born in Linton, Indiana on July 29, 1961 to James F. and Elizabeth L. (Weatherwax) Martin. Jan married the love of her life, Mark D. Clark on August 10, 1980. She was a secretary for many years at the Spencer Elementary School. Jan enjoyed watching her boys play baseball, traveling and loved spending Labor Day Weekend with her family.
Jan is survived by her mother, husband, sons, Levi (Valerie) Clark of Spencer, Laban (Brooke) Clark of Greenwood, Loren (Laine) Clark of Camby, siblings, Sue (Carl) Collins, Shelley (Patricia) Martin, Connie (Dave) Phillips, Joy French, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, sister Rita Kay Martin, and brother, Terry Martin.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the Freedom Nazarene Church, in Freedom, Indiana. Pastors Rick Wetnight and Chris Breeden will officiate. Burial will follow in Pleasant Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, Spencer, and again 11:00 AM until time of service, Wednesday, at the church.
