He was said to have been in the Texas Co., Missouri area in the 1880's where he had a relationship with a Sarah Jane Farrow, which resulted in the birth of a baby girl, Margaret Minerva Josephine on Aug 24, 1883. The couple never married and the daughter met her father once at the home of a Bonard Family who introduced the girl to her father. The father, Elvis, was said to have been of Scottish descent; red hair and handle bar mustache. Also claimed was that he was a cattle buyer.

Margaret Minerva Josephine went by her stepfather's last name of Wright. She later married John Moses Koger. Her memorial is #19611837.
