Anna was born in Wheatland on April 21, 1919, a daughter of Mary Shanku. She was a 1937 graduate of Farrell High School. She had worked for several years as a waitress at the former Jerry Chic’ s Eagle Grille in Farrell and Hermitage. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of the Orthodox faith. She was the widow of William Lloyd Adams, whom she married Sept. 29, 1941. He died Feb. 22, 1973.
Besides her mother and her husband, she was preceded in death by: four sisters, Mary Bartholemew, Sylvia Karovokiros, Emma Narsisian, and Lillian Greene; and two brothers, Michael and John Protopea.
