Esther Drennan, 93, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Good Samaritan Home.

She was a 70 year member of Blue Grass United Methodist Church. Esther was a loving homemaker and talented quilter. She served during World War II at Republic Aviation as a riveter making P47s. She loved golf, gardening and traveling.

Esther is survived by her husband, Wendell Drennan; step-children, Larry (Marge) Drennan, Barry (Becky) Drennan, and Kathy (Joe) Patton; sister, Joyce Goebel; grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1968, Chester Miller; sister, Mildred Nicholson, and brothers, Edwin and Herbert Engelhardt.

Funeral Services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Blue Grass United Methodist Church, 14200 Petersburg Road, officiated by Rev. Doug Heiman, with burial in Blue Grass Church Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10:00AM to service time at the church.
