Ann loved young and young-hearted people. Many is a night she hiked around the woods of her beloved home in Bristol, TN gathering leaves and bugs for her own or the child of a close friend's collection due the following day. She knew the surrounding mountains and countryside like the back of her hand and would gladly accompany friends and family on forays to the hills, lakes, and rivers.

Her daughters would like to thank Cheryl Gibson, Gwen Chenet and Kizzie Howard for the tender care she received while residing in Centerville. We would not have had her here to love nearly as long without their loving assistance.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 12 Noon, Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Akard Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 – Noon, Saturday prior to the service.
