Mineral Ridge- Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Russell F. Green, age 84 of Mineral Ridge who died early Friday morning in Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Russell was born November 28, 1922 in Howland, OH and was the son of the late John and Alice (Grunden) Green. He retired in 1987 from Alcan Aluminum where he had been a furnace operator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working with wood. Russell was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army.
His wife, the former Juanita Mae Friedhofer whom he married Sept. 22, 1945 died Feb. 17, 1995.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and 8 brothers and sisters.
