Paul Wesley Wilson, 90, of Dunkirk, Indiana, passed away at 9:25 AM on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at his residence in Dunkirk, Indiana. He was born on Monday, September 20, 1926 in Brunswick, Tennessee. He married June Delores (Bricker) Wilson on Sunday, December 15, 1946 in Millgrove, Indiana; she passed away on April 30, 2005. Paul was a 1944 graduate of Montpelier High School. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Paul had farmed, been a moldmaker and was founder of Wilson Electric. He attended Olive Branch Church of the Nazarene in Hartford City. He was a member of the American Legion, Redman Lodge and was in the Union for American Flint Glass Workers.
Loving survivors include: son - Paul Michael (Kerry) Wilson, Pooler, Georgia; daughter - Patty Ann (Ben) Stroup, Nowata, Oklahoma; son - Dean Allen (Loretta) Wilson, Dunkirk, Indiana; daughter - Drema June Flanigan, Providence Village, Texas; sisters - Barbara Eubanks, Hartford City, Indiana; Wilma McClain, Hartford City, Indiana; brothers- Charles Wilson, Montpelier, Indiana; Ben Wilson, Cloverdale, Indiana; 16 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clem Wesley Wilson; mother, Hazel Mildred (Suddoth) Wilson; wife, June Delores (Bricker) Wilson; brothers, Walter Wilson, Robert Wilson and Thomas Wilson; sisters, Ruth (Wilson) Thornburgh, Mildred (Wilson) Twibbel; grandson Travis Wilson.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier, Indiana on December 12, 2016 from 2:00PM to 8:00PM.
A service to celebrate Paul's life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home on December 13, 2016 at 1:00PM with viewing one hour prior to service. Clyde Eubanks will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Twin Hill IOOF Cemetery in Pennville at a later date.
