William Abbene, in Peabody, formerly of Revere, Feb 2nd at 85 years. Beloved husband of Estelle A. "Stella" (Zolla). Devoted father of Maris L. Abbene & her husband John A. Thompson & cherished grandfather of Nathaniel W. Thompson all of Medfield. Dear brother of Atty Antonio Abbene Jr. & Benjamin L. Abbene both of Revere & the late Dante Abbene & Anna Pistorino. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family & friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Vertuccio Home for Funerals, REVERE on Monday, Feb 6th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Revere at 10 AM, followed by interment in the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15 PM. Late WWII Army Veteran & Purple Heart Recipient. Member of the Revere K. of C., Bellevue Golf & Country Club & the Nat'l Assoc of Timberwolves-104th Infantry Division.
